For the pickup, our driver was at our home at the time they said they’d be there which was 5 minutes prior to our scheduled pick up time.

For the airport pickup, we had no wait; our driver was there and provided great instructions on where to meet.

Both drivers were very friendly and helped with the luggage and their cars were very clean. We also needed a booster seat which was also provided.”

“If you think this is a legitimate business, just look at the pictures on the website with cars that have European license plates. Also, google the address, it’s not a business. Completely unacceptable.

My wife left a review which pretty much explains it all.

All of the other reviews are either fake or from family members. STAY AWAY from this company.

OWNER RESPONE: “there was a problem with the bank code”. I paid with a credit card, which the driver wrote down on a napkin. I guess the napkin didn’t register the “bank code”….whatever that means.

I used the same credit card in all of the places we visited in South Beach Miami and none of the hotels, restaurants of stores had a problem with it. You know why….they didn’t use napkin technology!!

You can throw a dart at a map and have it land on a better taxi service than this one.”

“The car was dirty and smelled like an ashtray really bad. The charges (which we agreed on, not knowing better) was way higher than Uber. He claimed the toll is 45$ which is a lie. He made us pay right away as soon as we got to the car claiming he has no network in airport. The carseat was nasty and i was worried about my child sitting on that carseat.”

“I think I used to use this company decades ago, but my review is for my experience with them over the past year.

I hadn’t taken a taxi since before the pandemic, and even then, I found it hard to find a taxi service that would take me anywhere besides the airport. So I was thrilled that Rutherford Taxi had no qualms about taking me to Valley Hospital in Paramus since I couldn’t drive to my own surgery. I don’t know what’s a good rate these days, but they charged me $55 each way between Rutherford and Paramus. I felt this was reasonable considering I paid $60 to go to Newark Airport pre-pandemic using one of the less expensive local taxis. The driver was polite and super nice, dependable and on time. I used their service for my next two surgeries as well, with the same quality of service. The ride back home from the hospital each time was tricky because I couldn’t let them know in advance when we needed to be picked up. For two of the 3 surgeries, the driver did answer my call promptly but was not available to pick me up from the hospital himself. But both times he was able to contact other drivers to pick us up within a reasonable amount of time. Those drivers also were just as nice and polite. The last one was even kind enough to help us pick up trash bags that our sanitation workers had strewn on our curb 😂

I did have some trouble reaching them initially when I called over a holiday weekend to schedule a pickup, but they may just not be a 24/7 service. I always got in touch with someone easily if I called Monday through Friday between 9 and 5.
